Who’s behind this? Me. That buffoon in front of Buffy’s high school. I’m Gem Seddon, librarian by day, freelance entertainment writer by night.
After 12 years of writing professionally, I was invited to contribute to a movie locations guide. This made me realise that while I love visiting the spots where my favourite films were shot, I equally love researching the stories behind those productions.
And so, Highway to Horror was born. I combine details on where to find horror movie locations, along with dives on their production histories and why certain choices were made by the filmmakers when shooting at these iconic locales.
